Our Seekom Conference is being held at the Rydges Hotel in Wellington, New Zealand. When you arrive please go up the lift or stairs to level 1 to access the conference. We are excited to have a list of dynamic and informative keynote speakers this year for our Conference.
The Privacy Act applies to almost every person, business, and organisation in New Zealand. The Act includes privacy principles that guide how personal information can be collected, used, stored and disclosed. On 1 December 2020, the new Privacy Act 2020 came into force, introducing new obligations for businesses and organisations, and greater privacy protections for individuals.
In this presentation, Privacy Commissioner John Edwards will cover your responsibilities under the Privacy Act as business operators, including the new requirement to report serious privacy breaches. He will also outline the developing approach to compliance and enforcement under the new Act, and touch upon the privacy implications of Covid-19 contact tracing requirements
Julie White will speak at our conference on the good work done by Hospitality New Zealand in regards to labour's plan to implement a nationwide bed tax plus will introduce the new Accommodation Association and what it means for all accommodation providers in New Zealand. Whether a Hotel, Motel or Holiday Park their will be information for you!
Marvin will speak about automation in revenue management and will show you why dynamic pricing is turning into a must-have for every hospitality business!

Hans will be speaking on making up - selling a part of your recovery strategy and upselling at all stages of the guest journey and how it can earn you more revenue in 2021.
At our conference this year we will have a number of workshops running that you can attend to gain experience, knowledge, meet our staff and more.
