Entry of room units is optional. Only enter them if you wish to use iBex to manage allocation of guests to individual rooms. If you decide to enter room units, then you MUST do this for all room types.

If iBex is being used only in terms of accepting internet bookings then do not complete this screen.

Follow the steps below to setup room units.
It assumed you are logged in to iBex.

Select Admin | Room Type from the upper Menu bar.

Click the Room Units button (at bottom of screen).

You will now see the Setup Room Units screen with the selected room type showing in the Selected Room Type list box.

For new records, the number of room units shown is set by the max Nbr of Rooms setting in the Room Type screen.

Enter the sort order and name for each room unit (eg. 1 and Room 105).
You must enter all fields to save this record.

Click the Save button.

Once you have defined room units, you can always add more by entering the details into the Enter New Unit field. However you cannot delete a room unit.
