Allocation

When you register a room type, the allocation will automatically be set by iBex to be equal to the max number of rooms as set in the Room Type screen or the number of units you have entered for that room type in theRoom Units screen.  However you may wish to reduce the allocation at anytime or even set it to 0 to disable the room for a set validity period.

There are two screens to manage allocation.  One is the Manage Room Allocation screen and is used primarily for creating new allocation pools and viewing validity periods for allocation settings for that room type.  The other is Set Room Allocation which is called as a popup from the Calendar screen (when set to Allocation view).
