Add New Optional Extra

Follow the steps below to setup book-able optional extras such as meals, activities, etc.

 

It assumed you are logged in to iBex.

Select Admin | Extras from the upper Menu bar.

Enter data as follows:
 

Selected Property If you choose All Properties, this extra will be available to your customers booking any of your properties.  If you choose a specific property from the select box, this extra will only be available for that property only.
Extras Title enter item title (e.g. Dinner, Picnic Lunch, etc)
Category select from category (if available)

New Category if no existing category key appropriate category name (e.g. Meals, Sightseeing, etc)
Description self explanatory
Charge select appropriate unit of charge
Max per Booking enter if appropriate
Mandatory check if applicable e.g. compulsory levies

Click the Save button.

Add rate/s for each extra, to each rate group as required.

If extra is not to be sold until a future date, enter date in New Valid From field, otherwise accept default of todays date.

If extra is to be sold for a specific period, enter date in New Valid To field, otherwise leave blank.

Click the Save button.

To add another item click orange New button and repeat steps 2 to 7.
