Premier seaside accommodation - imagine being only 15 meters from the sea, surf and sandy beach. Carved out of rugged sand stone and basalt cliffs, St Clair is one of New Zealand's best known surfing beaches and is a gateway to the Otago Peninsula, "wildlife" capital of New Zealand. Home to seals, sea lions, penguins, albatross and 75 other bird species, you can often catch a view of one of them from a beachfront balcony. As well as this you can go for beach walks or swim in the popular St Clair Salt Water Pool. You can indulge in local cafes/bars, restaurants, hairdressers and beauty spas, or stay onsite and enjoy our sauna, mini-gym and outdoor spa. We also provide access to biking, tennis, surfing, kayaking and kite hire.

Cancellation Policy:

At the time of making a reservation your credit card details will be required to secure the booking in regard to our cancellation policy. No charges will be taken at that time.

At check in a credit card must be provided to cover all charges that may be made against the room and any possible damages caused by misuse or carelessness.

Cancellations must be made within 48 hours prior to the day of arrival, otherwise if we are unable to relet the room(s) cancelled within that time frame then cancellation fees to recover the lost earnings may apply. The fees will be charged to the credit card used to secure the booking.

Please note that bookings made are only valid for the dates as booked and for the number of people indicated. We reserve the right to have periods of minimum stays, and a maximum number of guests in our rooms.

Our check in time is between the hours of 2pm and 8pm on the day of arrival and check out time is before 10am on the day of departure. Variations outside these times must be arranged with reception prior to the day of arrival or departure so that staffing arrangements can be made. We are happy to store your luggage.

All our rooms, balconies and indoor guest service area's are strictly non smoking. Ash trays are provided outside the rooms along the entrance walkways and around our outdoor seating area's.

One car park is provided for each guest room booked and if more are required then this must be checked with reception prior to your stay.
