Our purpose-built, luxury accommodation offers a secure, hygenic and comfortable home for your cat. Built in 2001 the cattery is constructed to normal house standards with individual rooms for cats (not cages)
"Mr White's Place" is situated approx 2km east of SH1 in rural Te Horo. The cattery enjoys a peaceful, rural location with outdoor runs overlooking fields. It is within easy travelling distance (15 mins) of Paraparaumu, Waikanae and Otaki towns.

Each unit comprises an interior room and attached secure concrete floor outdoor run. The rooms are fully lined and decorated (normal house ceiling height) with bunk beds and duvets. External/indoor doors (including cat doors) link each of the rooms and service corridor.

Larger families of 3+ cats are most welcome as they can enjoy our inter-connected units.

All cats being boarded at the cattery must be desexed and have a current one or two year vaccination certificate (usually covers Feline Rhinotracheitis, Caliavirus, Chlamydia, Panleukopemia).

The cattery is MAF licensed (member of Asure Quality) www.asurequality.net.nz and insured.

We are open all year.

Payment Policy:

A 20% deposit is required to be direct credited to our bank account No 060501-0193218-02 (Mr White's Place) on confirmation of booking. Failure to pay this in a timely manner may result in cancellation of the booking.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation within 7 days of arrival will result in forfeit of deposit unless a replacement booking can be obtained. We recommend travel insurance.

Child Policy:

Small kittens (up to 4 months) not recommended. Owners of kittens should first visit to assure themselves that the outdoor run mesh size offers adequate security.

Directions:

Directions: At Te Horo (SH 1) turn right over the railway line, then first right into School Road. Continue up School Road to "Mr White's Place" at No 146 (just past the school house). Note there is no signage outside the property.

Single Unit

Each unit comprises an interior room and attached secure concrete outdoor run. The rooms are fully lined and decorated (normal house ceiling height) with bunk beds and duvets. External/indoor doors (including cat doors) link each of the outdoor runs and service corridor. Outdoor chairs and elevated ramps for sun bathing.

Maximum occupancy: 1 person/s
Bedding configuration: Wooden bunk beds with a hammock base. Bedding is 3 layers of duvet with polar fleece blankets. Cat house also available.

Twin Unit

Each unit comprises an interior room and attached secure concrete outdoor run. The rooms are fully lined and decorated (normal house ceiling height) with bunk beds and duvets. External/indoor doors (including cat doors) link each of the outdoor runs and service corridor. Outdoor chairs and elevated ramps for sun bathing.
