The Bella Vista Motel in Kaikoura invites visitors to experience its friendly accommodation service provided by it's owner/operators.
The accommodation has 18 units which are modern and clean. The motel has guest laundry facilities, accessible units for disabled guests. We also cater for varying ranges of units from tea/coffee making studios up to 1 bedroom Family units.
Cooked or Continental breakfasts are also available.
High speed broadband Internet is available to those guests travelling with their own laptop computer.
We are within walking distance of the Town Centre and Information centre (5 minutes), Kaikoura Whale Watch and the Dolphin and Albatross Encounter.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation Policy: If your plans change for some reason we do understand, and ask that you let us know as soon as possible. Failure to advise us will incur a charge. We require 3 days notice of a cancellation or a charge of one nights accommodation may be made. Not showing up and without any notification will incur a charge of one nights accommodation. If, after checking in, your stay is shortened a charge of up to one night's accommodation may be made.

Smoking Policy: Smoking will not be tolerated in any of our units. For those who wish to smoke, you are more than welcome to do go outside and receptacles have been provided for that purpose. Please leave your unit door and window shut while you smoke, to ensure no smoke enters the unit. Please note that if smoke is detected in a unit there will be a charge of $250.00 in order to return the unit to its non-smoking status. Not only does the effect of smoking taint the atmosphere within the units, there is considerable cost incurred with the need to clean the carpets, nets, curtains and bedding in order to return the said units to their original clean status. Furthermore, those units are often unable to be rented for two or three days after such actions.
